STAFF & VOLUNTEERS
If you have completed a DTS you are welcome to apply to join staff. If you have not completed a DTS (Discipleship training School) you are welcome to apply to our volunteer team, part time or on a regular basis (see mission builder proram below) As soon as we begin receiving your application we will pray along with you to see if this is the place God has for you! We are excited to see God's plans unfold!(We welcome Bi-lingual, Spanish/English Speakers- all other nationalites are welcome to apply, knowing English is the main language spoken, and you are willing to learn.)
STAFF NEEDS & POSITIONS OPEN:
ADMINISTRATIVE & OPERATIONAL ROLES;A Director's assistant, Registrar, Communications, Business Manager, Finance Department, Fundraising, Marketing.
TRAINING: Evangelism & Discipleship teams, DTS Leaders & Staff, Staff Training, Outreach coordinators (local & Internaional), Community Development team
WORSHIP & PRAYER areas;Worship leaders, Prayer Leaders, House of prayer staff, City Prayer coordinator, vocalists, musicians, sound techs
ARTISTS of ALL KINDS; fine and performing Arts.
I.T. areas; Web Design, computers & software upkeep etc.
BUILDING & SUPERVISOR; Grounds, maintainance, rennovations, construction
HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR; Guests, Family, Staff, Community events/gatherings, kitchen coordinatior/team
MISSION BUILDING PROGRAM
If you are from Akron or from outside of Akron, either in the USA or another country and have not done a DTS with YWAM but want a taste of missions and desire to jump in and serve where needed, you are welcome.
Upon discussion with our leadership and approval of your application, you may volunteer from 1 week to 3 months and beyond. You can serve from one day a week to a solid amount of time.
We welcome all ages and want to fit you into areas that are in your skill set and calling along with areas you may want to grow in.
There is a place for you and if we don’t have one now we will soon as we grow and develop and own more space and property.
We are currently renovating property and need skilled workers in areas of building, painting, plumbing, electric, etc. as we restore and ready our new training, office and possible residential areas.
OTHER VOLUNTEERS AND FRIENDS OF YWAM
If you don’t feel a call to commit full or part time to YWAM Akron as a staff or as a mission builder at this time please feel free to get involved when you can! We always need intercessors and prayer supporters and there are also events throughout the week where we welcome anyone who has a heart to see God glorified in Akron and the nations.
